I watched this a couple months back I think. It was quite good, kept me watching basically the whole time. Which is pretty rare, I have a tendency to stop watching/reading something for a while, even if I enjoy it.

Action was fantasic, great story, the emotional drama is well done, I love Sandra Ohs VA Debbie. And Omni Man, not sure what to think yet, well done villain.

How do you feel about the Amber stuff? Popular opinion seems to be that she was in the wrong, but Im not really sure I agree. I think Mark understood her issue, and it was a legitimate one, imo. Even with a good reason to hide it, of course it feels awful that it gets kept from you, especially after youve figured it out.

They were both being shitty, but it's the fault of the writers more than anything else. If they wanted people to be on her side - and they did - they shouldn't have written their college argument the way they did. Make it so that Amber is heavily aiming for him to tell her the truth in hindsight. Having her complain that he left when she knows he didn't was just dumb.

I was spoiled a bit by the memes, but fucking a the train scene was absolutely off the charts brutality.

I'm glad I saw that blind cause my jaw dropped.

Amber is low-key a trash character, which I didn't agree with until the episode at the college, where we know she knew Mark was Invincible. Had they wrote it so she wanted him to to confide in her and she actively tried to meet him halfway I would have bought it, but following the cyborg scene with "you don't treat me well" is some of the biggest bullshit I've ever seen.

I honestly havent had a physical reaction to anything Ive seen in many years but I literally dropped a pen I was holding and my jaw dropped as I was staring without blinking.
