Open up Resource Monitor to see what's causing it. Is it an HDD? Or SSD?

Do you have multiple tabs open? Apparently a lot of browsers are resource hogs.

If you are already in Task Manager, you can get to Resource Monitor by clicking the button for it at the bottom of the page in the Performance tab. Otherwise, you can just click the Start button and search for "Resource" and it should pop up.

I had a similar issue with a laptop I used to use. Had an SSHD in it. Disk usage was always at 100%, no matter what. Didn't matter what I was running, if anything.
Eventually, the only thing that resolved it was a total factory reset. ... Copied to Clipboard!
