If you bought it already, might as well at least try it. But keep in mind, like that other poster said it's a 100 hour long, addictive game.

Also, don't use any sort of guide. Do what you want to do in the game and that'll be your unique playthrough. Follow a guide to 100% everything (which you don't need to do to beat the game) for later runs if you do them.

I just don't imagine it being fun to read a guide on what to do every step of the way.

No, DON'T follow a guide. Just play it naturally and make your own choices. Part of the fun is comparing what you chose with other people and doing what you want. If you follow a guide, you just railroad yourself to predetermined choices and you don't have any freedom.

If you want to max out every social link, just wait until New Game+ >_> All your personality traits carry over, so it's way easier to do there anyway

Nah, I remember for the base P5, a lot of people that were new to the series had trouble maxing all of the confidants before the point of no return.

It was easier to do than P3 and P4, but I can definitely see it being a struggle if you were brand new, going in blind.

I got it at Christmas. I'm nearly done now, I think. I'm about 115 hours in, in mid-January.

It's hurtled straight towards the top of my all-time favourite games.

The only thing I ever used the internet for was those sections where they asked you questions in the classroom. I don't know a good amount of them and I feel gimped everytime I get them wrong lol.

$20's is probably the best price you can get for this game. I paid $40's for the original game and even I thought it was well worth it. This along with Octopath Traveler kept me engaged for quite a bit, though I will admit there were times when I felt this game dragged on for a little too long for its own good. Well at least it kept me more engaged than Dragon Quest 11, because for fuck sakes that was the most generic JRPG crap I played in a long time.

Lmao, yeah Persona 4 was pretty bad with that too. They didn't try to change anything for fans outside of Japan. A fan comic made fun of it.

this is by far the main reason why you shouldn't follow a guide.

so much shit to constantly look up you'll burn yourself out before even getting close to the end.

if anything you only need a couple of tips especially for best ways to raise your stats or what social link to max first etc.
