I became way too lazy since Covid restrictions started. The gyms reopened about 3 weeks ago here, but I am struggling to get back my old habit. I hate that I am starting to have a belly(well tbh I hate the "face fat" the most) even though it's not that bad and my heavier friends hate me for feeling bad about it. Anyway I gained 35 pounds in only one year and I feel like I am way easier to exhaust than I was a year ago. Anybody else struggled with this, but eventually managed to do fine?

Honest question cause I can't relate: you had unlimited quarantine time, why didn't you focus on eating healthy and running/calisthenics?

I did and it was an excellent boost to my fitness, I can't imagine just sitting there eating like crap the whole time...

I was feeling depressed and ate too much junk food. My flatmate also got on my nerve and I often had to go outside so instead of cooking, I just order junk food. I know it's my fault, but before Covid I used to go to the gym when I fell like shit and now I stupidly replaced it with junk food

Ah yeah mental health is hard I'd imagine

You could start by quitting ordering out entirely. An unhealthy gut is proven to be linked to an unhealthy mind. Your devotion to fitness will grow
