Pen and paper version ofc.

Undead, healer, support, I assume healing damages me. I like the thought of having to choose group healing (if it exist) to heal my buddies but will hurt me instead.

Yeah, but you have to collect the penises of your enemies for a necklace

Easily, depending on what DnD game/ruleset you use.

Going strictly by the rules, not in fifth edition. There's not an undead race, though the Hollow One from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount gives you a little bit of that flavor. Healing also doesn't harm undead, though healing spells usually state that it has no effect on them.

The perk of D&D is that you can just make up rules to do this though.

I don't know of a way in printed 4th or 5th edition to make healing hurt you, but you could absolutely make a homebrew for it. I vaguely recall that healing hurt undead back in 3.5, but I don't know much about that edition. It might be doable with printed material there.

There are options for playable undead races in pretty much every edition.

Off the top of my head, you could have the option to roll an extra healing die, but you take that amount of healing in damage.

Basically, yeah. As long as your DM is okay with it, you can largely do whatever you want. The rules generally really are just guidelines to work with and base your own things on.

Positive energy hurt them I believe, which then hurt most undead so had to use the "negative energy" variant to heal them (and hurt most others)
