I realy enjoyed re7 and even tho Ive only played like an hour of 8 so far it seems to be great too

but MAN Ethan is such an awful character imo. I guess hes supposed to be more normal than past re protagonists but every time this dude says something I cringe so hard dawg

Yeah, that's about how far I've gotten and I think I actually laughed when a werewolf bit the fingers off the same hand his wife cut off with a chainsaw. And then he just casually walks around with it, climbing ladders and shit, until he suddenly remembers he has a bandage twenty minutes later.

I really think they brought him back because the devs can go ham with the body damage and he mostly heals back. That usually happens in any story where a character can heal themselves and/or others.

He definitely heals from plot damage to a degree. Tbh I don't understand why (very minor spoilers) only Mia has to take medicine for her mold infection when Ethan is clearly still infected.
