Darmik 04/21/21 12:19:32 AM #1:	Before CTR dominated the conversation about kart racers on PS1 there was a fun little kart racer called Speed Freaks (Speed Punks in the US). I never see this game talked about anywhere online. I remember seeing a commercial for it where one of the racers got frustrated that the person playing the game wouldn't hit accelarate and this commercial just doesn't seem to exist on the internet. Having a big map with 4 characters you could switch between at any time with all kinds of unique abilities...was great. Freedom Fighters too. I liked how you could basically play as anyone in the multi even if it was hilariously broken.
