It's kind of amazing how much better Godzilla vs Kong is that King of the Monsters despite using the exact same ingredients. They just tried way less hard to weave in boring idiotic human drama, didn't cut away from fights for said idiotic boring drama, and showed the fighting clearly instead of with rain or snow or whatever every time. ... KotM was much better. The Kong vs Godzilla fights were ok but he (Kong) was underwhelming the entire movie. Even with a special weapon he still got dusted (yet somehow did more damage on MechaGodzilla who was giving the real zilla much more work than he Kong did). Like I didn't expect Kong to win but thought he would really give Godzilla the business as another iconic monster. It should have been a draw or narrow win for zilla. He wasn't even in crazy overdrive mode like against Ghidorah. Speaking of, MechaGodzilla was such a shitty villain compared to King Ghidorah.
