The main character (Carey Mulligan) is this fucked in the head chick that likes to pretend she's drunk at bars and get picked up by dudes only to chastise them and teach them a lesson once they bring her to their home. ~~She does this because years ago in med-school, her childhood best friend was raped by their peers and the main guy who did it got away with it.~~ Anyway, near the end of the movie -- she learns where the guy (who's about to get married) was having his bachelor party and goes their with the intent to torture/kill him and avenge her friends. Except he ends up turning the tables and killing her and the last 10 or so minutes is about the guy panicking and getting his friend to help him get rid of the body. I went into it totally blind not knowing anything. I don't think it would be getting this oscar attention if it weren't such a weird year last year.
