Hmmm, I'm not sure. The director's cut got rid of the narration--ford's inner dialogue--and I felt it made the film much better and much less pretentious. But I could still see it being viewed that way...

I think I'll watch it again the legacy of it deserves that much respect. I'll probably watch the sequel first.

One of the best science fiction movies of all times.

what i like about it the most is the simplicity of the story of someone on a "quest" who doesn't know they're asleep. it's kind of like a dark wizard of oz. it's also probably the best looking movie ever made. the lighting/shadows are insane. and the editing. and score

Blade Runner is/would be better without narration, although I dont remember it being used too much anyway.
