No, its an autoimmune disease, not dangeous or anything, just annoying and ugly.

is it treatable?

It can self heal from months to years but no thanks, its just gotten worse. But yeah, I can do cortizone cream but it had no effect for me and it would be tedious since I have it all over my body, in my mouth and genitals as well. Internet says there is cortizone pill treatmemt but my doctor said it has too mamy bad effects to use that option so he will prescribe some cellgift pills to take once a week.

But I dunno it might be something I will get the rest of my life, hopefully treatment works, I get rid of them and it might pop up later in life erc. But I dont really know how it works.

Lichen planus is not a dangerous disease, and it usually goes away on its own. However, in some people, it may come back.

Anyone here has Lichen? Or know anyone with it?
I've been low key following these topics because I'm pretty sure I have the same thing on my leg and have had it for a couple years now. Nothing I've been prescribed has ever done anything so I might look into it. This is mine, they always look like razor bumps, but they don't ever go away:

I aint no expert. But do you get rash when you injured your skin, like after it heals? That seems common for this. For example:

The line of rash was just a regular scratch, it healed then I got the rash.

Im not sure, but I do get lighter versions of that from time to time. I heal extremely slowly and my skin is hyper sensitive in general though.

Also looking up on it, a common thing is that the rash is pretty red sometimes purple (like my first one) and shiny, all of them also are bit elavated, flat bumps.

First rash (started in June in a scar I got from an injury in march):

Looks similar to psoriasis. I had it many years ago all over my back, and legs, but one day it all disappeared and never came back. I just put aloe vera on them.
