Not my first time technically, but I'm already further than I was last time lmao. Good God, the stuttering

Anyway, the main points of tonight's session (roughly two hours):

Went with the lethal option and combat rifles in the conversation with Serif. In the warehouse itself I used a mix of rifle and stealth

Speaking of stealth: I suck at stealth games. I'm playing this for the world-building and the dialogue options. The combat is decent but not the main selling point for me...or to put it another way: I never aske-*gets shot*

I managed to persuade the terrorist veteran guy to let the lady go, but he didn't turn himself in but rather run away. This being Deus Ex, I'm confident he'll show up later to return the favour

Used my first two praxis on that 'social' upgrade that cost two praxis. Afterwards, I talked to Malik and realised it's not relevant for every conversation lmao

I'm working tomorrow so I won't be able to play it again until Thursday evening (~48 hours) probably. I hope this doesn't die by then

Social one is a good first one from what I recall. Means get potential max use out of it.

go non-lethal if possible. Even just running up and using the knockout

The social mod is great.

There's also side benefits to some of the others.

Like the invisibility one lets you walk through security lasers.

The silent steps one does NOT work for landmines, found that out the hard way.

Oh, and DEFINITELY get the hacking ones for Capture and Stealth. Analyze is worthless.

tbh i'm not certain. I always go for the response that matches the designation that flashes the most. it seemed to work out since i didnt have to save scum any convos iirc

When the hubub of Cyberpunk was raging, I went and started up HR on my Wii U. Forgot how enjoyable the game is, especially when you finally get to the first hub city. So much fun and interesting side stuff to see.

There's a nearby building that you can access the roof of, and it looks over their territory. Getting down from there or even onto another building from there is, unfortunately, a different matter

Don't forget to throw shit as distractions. That's an easy way to lure a guard for a takedown or divert a couple goons' attention

I forget if you can do the dual melee take out and have both batteries regen but either way, you can stun gun one and keep pressing the takedown button and it'll go straight into the cutscene without hitting the alert.

I don't want to force myself to play the game and risk getting burned out on it. Better to go slowly and keep it enjoyable

Scratch that. Got hacking LV 2 and hacking turrets. The turrets in particular were very satisfying

The boss fight was cool

I proudly chose the coward's way to fight him; sniping him from the safety of the PC area up above

If you find a breakable wall you can break it without the Aug.

Toss barrels at it for a while.

Also, get the Move Heavy Objects one, it's great for exploration.

Safe falling comes in handy on occasion.

Made my way into the building in China. Found an open apartment and took a breather.

Walked out of it right into a pair of enemies

You never get to take a breather.

Fun trick I've found with the stealth:

When using the cloak, pulse it.

Like moving cover, just tap the cloak, move, drop it.

Keeps you moving and the energy starts reloading instantly as long as you don't drain a full bar.

There's only two or three.

In China, you got the one in the brothel and one in a pod apartment building that I remember off-hand.
