Did you like that whatever was killing them (or rather making them kill themselves) was never truly seen? We had that one guy with drawings of them which looked like some Cthulu type shit, but we never really got to see em.

As opposed to...lets say The Happening where they had to explain that plants were making people suicidal as Nature's self defense kind of thing.

I pretty much hated that whole movie
Ok. I mean, I know you're biased against it now, but how do you feel about the unseen force(s)?

Yeah I liked it. Any form of reveal would have been a letdown due to the buildup throughout the movie.

I was hoping for a reveal, or at least a bit more of a an idea than we got, personally.

Yeah it was a bit of an odd feeling for me. I'm so used to having closure, for movies to explain or show forces like this, so for them to not do so just felt so...rare and jarring lol. But in a way it was good because let's be honest, more times than not the reveal of the horror is disappointing <__<

I'm glad they never showed the monsters, I wish more movies would leave things to the viewer's imagination.

My biggest issue is that the monster's effect somehow goes through a digital camera, this implies that there's some deadly combination of colors and pixels that a home desktop monitor is capable of that would make you insane.

Nope

That was worse, but birdbox was still pretty shitty.

I thought it was a very nice idea. Its definitely something really hard to fight against or avoid. Unlike other movies like Quiet Place where its probably really easy to just set a perimeter of sound distractions to lure them away if they get inside.
