You can't even cough, sneeze or blow your nose in public anymore without people looking at you with disdain.

Like, these normal everyday things that aren't even exclusively caused by viral infections.

You can't even cough because a piece of food got stuck in your throat without being anxious that someone might get upset.

"Oh you're coughing? Why don't you stay at home if you're sick?!"

My nose can suddenly start running for what seems to be no reason after a whole day or two without any issues.

But oh shit, I can't blow my nose because someone might not like see me doing it and he or she might think I'm spreading the disease by being in public.

My nose has been this way long before this pandemic came along.
I've tried so many things to combat it but there's nothing that actually fixes the damn problem.
And working as a welder in a very dusty place doesn't exactly help things.

I stay at home most of my time when I'm not working even before the pandemic struck and I barely even socialize with my coworkers or friends anymore.

This crap is making me more depressed than ever before.

Yeah. I remember when I drank something, and it went down the wrong pipe. I was trying not to cough because I didnt want people to think I was sick...

Same, was at the hospital for antibiotics(just a blister that got infected), coffee down the wrong tube a little bit and I was straining there not to let a bunch of hacking loose lulz.

Yeah! I have allergies and some days my nose just hates me. Its hard to deal with a runny, itchy nose under a mask sometimes.

They might hear you sniffing, though. That being said, no one has said anything about my sniffles. But that might be because I was always doing that, even before COVID...

Where I work literally everyone sniffles and blow their noses regularly due to our working conditions, so it is to be expected at this point.
Random people you meet in store might scold you though.

I'm not a fan of the coughing. I wish my parents could tell the difference between a weed cough, and a sick cough so I don't have to listen to my mom ask me if I'm sick because she heard me coughing.

I don't worry about any of that. I cough, sneeze, blow my nose, etc. whenever I feel like it. Paying no attention to qhat people may or may not think about it.
