If Santa is Jesus, and Krampus is the devil.....this thing would be maybe the Cthulhu of christmas. Pure evil and torture for evil and torture's sake

it targets isolated rural family homes in the dead of winter. for like a week it will haunt the home and allow kids to see it sometimes and make weird noises and smells and sounds. and just cause the family to get a sense of unease. on the final night, it attacks. it enters the home and captures the entire family and puts them incapacitated together in a main room like the living room. then everyone gets tortured and eventually killed one by one in front of everyone else. but it also only targets families with at least 2 or more kids. it always spares one child and takes them away to an unknown fate. parts of this remind me of the Sinister movies about the being that gets a child in a family to film the murder of their family and then takes that child away.

The SCP also suspects that the surviving kids don't live happy lives, and are made into slaves. and if they don't obey the being (called the Yule Man), they can be punished, sometimes turned into living toys. one time they found a girl who claimed to have been a captive of the Yule Man and she was made to toil in an unknown location making toys but she misbehaved and he turned her into a horrific living doll. she was found and interviewed by SCP agents at a hospital before she died.

also in 15% of cases, the Yule Man for unknown reasons will choose to spare a family and not do the final night attack. instead the family will wake up on Christmas morning and find toys made of flesh and bone under their tree

if they ever made SCP movies, I think this one would be particularly fucked up
