If Trump is as rich as he claims he is, then why does he need this money? Most likely Trump is going to use this money for incoming lawsuits after he leaves the white house.
The sad thing is his supporters believe that Trump drained the swamp. The only thing Trump has really done is expand the size of government (ie the swamp). The budget deficit is $3.1 trillion dollars for 2020. The budget deficit is already reaching the budget of 2019. That's what Republican presidents always do, they pretend the be small government, but jack up the defecit like crazy. What they're actually against when they say "big government" is regulation, especially regulation of their rich CEO buddies. But yeah Clinton took it all the way down and beyond into a surplus.
