i do basic repairs but things like brakes or anything that needs welding, i take it to a shop.

Only things I've needed so far are: oil changes, breaks, and battery. So this far, I've done it all myself

Most things are done my dad and me. He is a mechanic though

I can't think of the last thing I had to take somewhere

It is infuriating to me that I need a 5/17th cm anti-clockwise eightball wrench to change a single bolt, so I've started just taking it in every time

I have to admit, when I buy a new car I'm not gonna be able to do as much as I can now. My car is ancient and it's really easy to work on.

There are some things l don't mind doing myself like changing the tires or the battery. I'm too lazy to do oil changes and brakes.

I know little to nothing about cars. It's just easier and safer to hire someone else who knows what they're doing.

Mostly all myself. I used to be a mechanic though.

Depends on what needs to be done. If my bumper is cracked or dented Ill just cut off the broken part. Oil changes and batteries are easy, but anything else I take in.
