Is that the one with Bill Maher? While I agree with a lot of his views he can be kind of obnoxious and I'm definitely not interested in listening to him bash religion.

this topic actually prompted me to do a letterboxd review:

"someone asked me if i liked this recently and I really haven't thought about it in years. i remember really liking this when I was 17; it seems to be a movie made for edgy 17 year olds

i love dunking on religion as much as the next guy but looking back this movie just seemed to be a bunch of cruel bullying, not actual conversation or critique. I could be wrong but I don't feel like going back to watching it. my most vivid memories are bill maher saying "let's go here to make fun of religion next" then going "gotcha" when a religion person cannot solve a logical fallacy presented by the bible that has existed for hundreds of years.

and then ending it with the most pretentious monologue ever widely distributed in film. i do not think if this is all i remember about the movie that there was anything positive to take from it for a 17 year old"

Im not religious but I'm spiritual and I believe in being quick to see where religious people are right. Like Zen is talking about, I don't care to watch something that seems like self serving pretentious bullying

No, but I don't care much for documentaries. Especially ones about really obvious stuff.
