Josh McCown, 2013

He only started 5 games, but he got 13 TDs, 1 INT and completed 66% of his passes, with a 109 QBR. He came in for Jay Cutler that season due to injury. The tandem, with McCown playing much better, set Bears records for passing. They finished 8-8.

So, uhh. The best quarterback they have had since.....a long time, is a dude who started 5 games(played in 8) in one year. They did not make the playoffs.

Josh McCown, perhaps one of the great career journeymen. Born in 1979, one of, if not the last players born in the 70s in the league. he is 41. He is currently on the Texans. Besides that: Arizona, Oakland, Detroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland, New York Jets, Carolina.
