I've learned after buying an expensive one and buying a cheap one, they all essentially function the same in their simplicity, so there's no need to go extravagant and spend $300. This seems to be a popular opinion reading a lot of Amazon reviews and whatnot. Just make sure it has a hepa filter, that's really the only thing that's important.
