What is academia anthropomorphic you might ask?

Take a college or subject of study... and you make it a person. And thats where this genres conventions begin and end, because you can literally do ANYTHING you want. You want to have Penn State and Harvard both trying to survive in the Purge? Or wanna see Ohio State and Theatre Studies fuck?

Just like other odd genres, this one is starting to gain popularity because it has endless possibilities. I can see a YA novel in 30 years popularizing this, with characters completely unironically named Physics and Environmental Studies, all while West Virginia University is trying to break them up.
