Nicely done, the potatoes look amazing.

How'd the pie turn out? I tried to make a pumpkin pie for my in-laws last year and it came out super moist and mushy. Wasn't a good first thanksgiving impression at all haha

Also did you use canned mushroom soup? I never knew that was what went into green bean casseroles until people kept talking about them here and I looked up the recipe.

I think its such a nostalgic dish for most Americans. Green bean casserole is the great thanksgiving equalizer, if you do all the canned stuff its cheap and easy to make, so rich or poor everyone is having this with their dinners

Things are fine on this end. I've been in a tizzy, but healthy and all. <3

Green bean casserole is basically the only worthwhile casserole, though it's scarcely part of my actual Thanksgiving repertoire (only relatives make it). It hits big at church basement potlucks and Eastern meals, though.

I hope you made enough for leftovers for the week. If you need to cook before December, it's not a full Thanksgiving meal. :P

Yum! That sounds so much better than using the canned stuff. The ready made fried onions are alright. I tried some. They arent nearly as good as frying them up yourself though.
