Theres people who think they dont have to clean their feet because theyre standing on soapy water and soap also runs down from the rest of your body. Those are the people with horrible smelling feet. Wash your feet! Standing in soapy water isnt nearly enough

Soap scum on your feet is horrible. Its best to regularly use drain cleaner to prevent soap scum and hair from building up in the pipes. If your shower drains so slowly that the water is standing, then you are standing in something that I dont consider to be clean and it leaves a nasty, slimy texture on your feet that can ruin sandals and shoes.

If you don't want horrendous foot odor, you have to actually scrub them.
Rinsing does not reliably remove dead skin and particles embedded in the surface, including infections...
