I am back again, among the cries of "ew, why would you put THAT shit in your nose"

So I have been wanting to try this one ya'll because the flavor profile had me intrigued: rose of attar, amaretto, and ambergris(harvested from wales from the chatham islands!) Ambergris is an ingredient they used to use in perfumes. It is a product of the digestive system of a sperm wale.

Anyways...that had me stoked! Plus sir Walter Scotts is a fancier brand of snuff, or so I hear. Most snuff isn't bad, but like anything else there are brands that are a cut above, usually more expensive. This was $12 for a 15g tin. That is kinda pricey but not a million bucks.

This looks two tone...darker brown with lighter brown specks in it. Pleasing to the eye, if anything.

Sniffing it in the tin...It smells a LOT like Copenhagen snuff, the kind in a can you dip(you can also dip nasal snuff but, uhh, it kinda gets everywhere and Isn't a great time). I do not like the smell of Copenhagen, but it could grow on me since this is going to be a better form of that idea. I can definitely make out a hint of smooth and a hint of perfume-ish stuff behind it. But dang, the Cope is too strong. I am actually not really a fan of the scent. Though actually doing it is another matter and can smell different.

Using it, the Copenhagen smell is definitely there, but I got more of the amaretto and ambergris(floral) out of it. I think. I've never been good at sniffin - whiskey, snuff, ass. The smell isn't that terrible. The can smells worse. While it does smell like Copenhagen, the other elements come out more, so it's not too bad.

I don't know what to make of this one. The prominent smell is not my choice but the underlying is interesting. It is easy to take, so that's a bonus.

Hey, check it out!
