And I was a Kamala promoter, saying she would definitely be the President. Seeing her performance through the race and as potential VP, I can see now why she is not the top of the ticket. I told my liberal friends to take Trump seriously in 2015. I have been telling my conservative friends to take AOC. There will come a day we are all saying "President Ocasio-Cortez". The conservatives have been positioning her as the antichrist since she joined the house, so she's not gonna be president anytime soon. But she could have a really good run that excites the democratic votes and drives the party farther left (similar to what Bernie theoretically should have accomplished) because god knows the US needs a proper left-wing party.
