I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos, and the general theme is that virtually every Xbox one game runs better and has vastly better load times.

So in a sense with the Series X you are essentially also getting a fully upgraded Xbox One library, almost like an entire generation of console games upgraded at launch.

Combined with game pass, it's hard to argue that Microsoft hasn't come up with a brilliant way to handle launch.

Digital foundry's video is really impressive. There are a ton of games with unstable frame rates that all completely lock at 60fps now, plus games with variable resolution that lock to 4k.

They should focus more on working with developers for better exclusives.

They're buying up studios and hoping that it'll be enough to finally get them some good exclusives. I guess we have to wait and see how that works out for them

Considering they've been literally buying every developer around....

I'm usually, and still am, pretty skeptical about Microsoft's claims regarding exclusives. I still remember E3 2014, when they got a lot of praise for games that they ultimately canceled over the next couple years.
