Disco Elysium
Outer Wilds
Pathologic 2

3 masterpieces in a year. i'm playing pathologic 2 now an regret i didn't buy this on release. this game is one of the craziest games out there. you're a doctor that have 12 days to save a town plagued by mysterious disease.

it's the most eerie games i have ever played, it's system that is purposefully give players despair and misery (well there are easy mode) but seriously the game got masterpiece level of writing, atmosphere and art design

Dicey Dungeons as well

I'll have to try Disco Elysium sometime. Pathologic 2 sounds really interesting, but also a little too disturbing...

Outer Wilds remains one of the most memorable games I've ever played. I just think about it every so often and the entire playthrough was complete awe from start to finish. I knew as I was playing it that it was a total masterpiece of game design, an instant classic.

Bittersweet that it can only be played once.

Know nothing of Outer Wilds, only played the similarly named outer worlds.
But if it's so good, guess I'll look into it

It's more like subnautica, but without the grinding/gear creation.

Without spoiling it, you can technically beat the game in under half an hour if you know what to do. The entire gameplay revolves around working out piece by piece what to do.
