Name movies where older version of a character can somehow talk to a younger version of themselves and tries to reason with them that their path wasnt a good one but the younger version ignores their own future self....

there's an episode of mlp:fim that's like this. character goes to reason with themselves in the past and said past character is too much of a huge nerd to listen. she kinda just geeks out about time travel until her future self has to leave.
