It wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. But I definitely understand the criticisms, there's a lot to criticize. It seems most problems stem from it being rush tbh. Anyway, interesting ending that I was mostly fine with. Jon getting sent back to the wall was just silly. Denearys had to die, she was crazy af. Bran being the kind is kind of strange but whatever. Tyrion is basically in charge which is great lol. Sansa's dumb and gonna cause future problems.

People tend to have different expectations depending on when they started watching a show
We have been speculeting for years about how it will end
There were so many theories
And everything was pointless

If you don't have to wait week after week for episodes and you come in with the lowest expectations possible then it's not so bad. I disliked the show since S2 and it was still felt really bad and disappointing though.

I was current except for the final episode of season 7. Due to some drama, I never finished it. Then when the final season was airing, I had no access to HBO and then started hearing all the negativity so I wasn't in a rush to catch up at that point.
