Do americans tend to "default" you as a certain ethnicity in TV shows like some people who call all asian "chinese"? Quebec did an interpretation of Brooklyn 99 and while it does not look good and I don't like that they white washed Amy and Rosa, they still Francewashed Quebeckers in the Drummondville episode. I am just curious to see if some people who are not born in U.S.A lived this phenomenon.(I am pretty sure you did). It seems like for american producers, if you speak French, you are automatically a France guy
