ive hiked down steep narrow pathways with a mask. Its really not hard cuz im not a little baby and I care about my fellow man.

Usually when people talk about outdoor mask mandates, they mostly are targeted at people walking around the street,etc. without a mask, not runners/bikers.

If you're hiking in the woods, no, you don't need to wear a mask. If you're casually strolling down a busy street, yes, you need to wear a mask.

What? Quite the opposite. I work at a grocery store company and every since Texas put a mask mandate in place, there has been a drastic decline in the number of our employees getting COVID-19.

I dont understand how Americans became such Wusses when it comes to masks.

I literally ran for 30 mins with a mask on at the park. My brother who has asthma, is able to wear it with no problem.

Hell, asians wore it for 4 decades as a fucking norm in their culture.

Yeah okay sure, but it doesn't work like that, because the virus is aerosolized. This means wherever the air escapes from your mask, there goes the virus. So out the sides, across your cheeks, down your chin, it still escapes, even between the fibers of the mask. And because the virus lingers in the air for something like half an hour, anyone who walks anywhere near where you were is just as at risk of catching it as if you weren't wearing it at all.

This. If you are hiking wide open spaces where you will no be in contact with other. No mask needed. If you are on a busy trail. Wear your mask. If you need a second to collect yourself find a spot that will allow you to gain your composure AWAY from others then put it back on.

That is not true at all otherwise it would be impossible to not get infected with an N95 because its letting in air in and out.

Pointless. Wearing masks outside will do nothing. Keep your distance from people and wear your masks when you go inside public areas. Obviously if you go to a carnival or a public event outdoors with lots of people you should wear your darn mask. I think that's probably the problem here. People want to go to concerts and beaches but don't know whether they should wear a mask or not.
