Thats weird cause its The Office that feels soulless and it has a horrible cast of characters and the writing still often falls flat.

I personally enjoy parks and rec more.

I see the appeal to both, but I find that most episodes of The Office have a cringe heavy "michael scott" moment that I would just as soon skip. And season 1 leslie has her moments, but parks and rec found it's footing early on and it's a great ride every time I go through it. There are multiple episodes of the office that I simply can't stomach anymore.

Imagine living in a world with shows like 2 Broke Girls and CSI and thinking that The Office and/or Parks and Recreation aren't both sitting at the pinnacle of television writing in comparison to the deluge of absolute garbage that exists.

Comparing other workplace comedies to The Office is like comparing Bubsy to Mario. Not only does the former not exist without the latter, it doesnt have a prayer of capturing the magic of the original.

Youve got to be kidding me. The Office is some of the blandest milquetoast shit ever to air with their cliche will they/wont they plot, characters like Michael Scott that are so random lolz, total snoozers like watching Jim try to be interesting. And all I started with was opinion; its better than his first show. Youre the one that wanted me to diss it further. I dont even hate the Office but Jesus man its not the greatest show in the world.
