They got over their peak and then went back up with a vengeance even higher than the original peak. Every other country I looked at once they peaked they went down and stayed down.

the myth in this thread is that the US 'flattened the curve". some states did, but because of the piecemeal response and rushed openings it was not uniform across the country.

The US opened up when it was barely going down the slope. They flattened it, but they had zero patience and opened up too soon. Other countries that opened up didn't open up right when they flattened it, they waited until they had several weeks of everything either holding steady or going down. That's the difference.
Considering you are horny to deflect all blame off of Trump, it's funny that you mention only the country run by him is the one that fucked up. Like maybe he shouldn't have been screaming for states to be liberated? You know, actively trying to get people to revolt against the safety measures which by definition means he deserves blame? ...
