Just referring to the way racism and hate is shown in the media and by celebrities. Not everyone is this way obviously, but given the US president it's hard not to generalize some people. Feel free to point out typical evil behavior by democrats in this topic too and prove me wrong.

I'm not sure what else you would call a group of people who deliberately spread misinformation during a pandemic killing hundreds of thousands of people, just to protect their chances for re-election.

That's how it's portrayed, yes. I would say it's closer to the boys vs girls comparison. Republicans will punch you in the face. Democrats will pretend to be your friend, then stab you in the back.

A lot of people live life through the lens of a Disney movie, if there isn't a clear hero and villain they short circuit.

That makes a lot of sense to me for anyone who doesn't agree with democrat policies. It doesn't seem the same as openly hating people for something they can't control though.

Both sides suck, and they need one another to succeed. Its a seesaw. One goes up, the other goes down. They take turns.

We basically have two major corporations running the country at all times. We live in a country where you need to be red or blue, with very little variations. There are thousands of varied opinions that could be applied to national and world politics, but instead, it all comes down to two wrapped bundles:

More taxes, better social benefits, pro choice, anti death penalty, etc.

Lower taxes, less social benefits and more self reliance, pro life, pro death penalty, etc.

One of those two. Pick your combo platter.

The thing is you might agree with things the Democrats say when campaigning, but that isn't what you get. Look at Obama the candidate versus Obama the president.

We don't have a viable third party, either the third party has no chance (this is the usual outcome) or ends up being unfit for the country like the far left DSA (and thankfully we aren't like Greece, where they also have a far right party called Golden Dawn as well).
