I bought this laptop for $100. It's a Toshiba Satellite C-850 with an i3 (2.2GHZ 2 core, 4 thread), 8GB DDR3 1333 SODIMM, and integrated graphics. It also had a 500GB, 5200 RPM HDD in it. It came with Windows 7. I threw my old OCZ 120GB SSD in it and installed Windows 10. The usability is tremendous. When coming out of sleep mode, the 500GB drive struggled mightily. It would sit at 100% use for up to 10 minutes as it tried to open up all the background processes. With an SSD, you're lucky if it's 20 seconds. It's a more than capable browser and stream watching device, when it was barely functioning by today's standards with the old HDD. I wish it had a more powerful NIC in it, though; I get shit connection speeds from my room.
