what to believe, that or intermittent fasting? btw those 6 meals would still not go over whatever caloric intake goal a person would have to lose weight.

different things work for different people. the benefits to intermittent fasting aren't really about weight since weight can be managed in lots of different ways. intermittent fasting has other benefits like autophagy

by doing that you're eating like a diabetic, diabetics eat like that because it helps smooth out their blood sugar levels. that can potentially have lots of health benefits.

btw 6 meals is really fucking inconvenient for me and int-fasting sure sounds more lazy and do-able. i still want to know whats technically more effective for weight loss. a quick google search and it leans towards int-fasting. just the trend of the times or what. seems like the consensus on nutritional advice shifts a lot every few years.

6 meals is inconvenient for just about everyone that works an 8 hour day lol.

Intermittent fasting is a trend of the times, it works though. Trends change because this knowledge isnt common, and is largely untaught (despite not being hard concepts) and people put their own spin on things and advertise the same thing that has worked for 40+ years. The basics of nutrition wont ever change.

The most effective strategy for weight loss is the one you enjoy and youll be able to stick to. Could make this a really long post but it often falls on deaf ear. Many roads to Rome.
