Poll of the Day > Yesterday at work we had another mask complainer.

I guess before I got there this customer tried to come in without a mask and was rightfully denied entry.

So once I get there, they come back, making a scene about how they "found their mask"(which they obviously knew they had). their mask has "fuck you" written on it. The entire time they were telling the employee who denied them entry before they were doing face scratch middle fingers.

I was honestly cringing because....how could you not. To top it all off they a) complied with our demands and b) bought stuff giving our company money. Their protest failed on several levels, nevermind the fact I will always remember how much I was cringing moreso than anything else.

99% of people are fine with wearing a mask, either because they want to, or simply because even though the masks suck it is a requirement. the 1% find zany ways to protest the masks, but end up shopping at businesses that require them anyways(which is kinda hard not to. I work in a gov't owned business but even grocery stores require masks which makes me wonder if they throw pointless tantrums literally everywhere)

Put up a sign that says "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No Service". Then when someone complains, just tap the sign.

It's your business. You have the right to be a chicken shit asshole and lose business. Good on you for enforcing store policy. You don't have to make a cake for their wedding if you don't want to either.

The funniest part about those people is they'll share that shitpost online about how during WWII people would answer the call of duty, yet now people "scared to leave their homes", without realizing that taking precautions like staying at home or wearing a mask is literally all their being asked to do for their fellow citizens yet they can't even be assed to do that.

It's fine. Personally, I most likely wouldn't sop anywhere that requires a mask as I only need mine for work. And I don't want to lose of damage it (though even damaged, I could use it at work). Luckily, my city doesn't seem to have any places requiring a mask. But if a place does, people should either wear their mask, or go to a place where they aren't required...

Some ignorant people don't understand that stores must follow the rules and they don't make the rules. The employers are stressed as it is without some selfish fuckwit causing a scene like a child. We all must get on with these rules however if folk choose to ignore them then they simple don't get what they want.
