there have been a few times where i've been wrong when discussing/arguing something, and 85% of the time i'll admit i was wrong. the other 15% is when the poster i'm arguing with is being an ultra-asshole about it and i'll just stop posting, ok?

there are certain posters like sunny, nathan, helly and adjl who i've never experienced admitting they've been wrong, despite it being painfully obvious at times that they were, ok?

do you ever admit it when you're wrong? do you know another poster who admits it when they're wrong? do you know a poster who will never admit they're wrong, despite obviously being wrong?

I admit there was one time I didn't admit I was wrong because @Mead admitted he was wrong first because I convinced him he had the wrong idea about what I said and I felt like shit.

??

I typed that seriously but it's kind of funny to read. I wasn't on board with the face masks and was of the opinion that they didn't do anything.

I follow a scientist I won't name who stated face masks don't do anything, then the WHO said they did (they only said they didn't help originally because there was a shortage of face masks)

So basically I was wrong but only in retrospect, but when Mead called out my shit I was too embarrassed to admit it and just pretended other people couldn't read what I said because I said it ambiguously. I would have had to disagree with a reputable scientist and the WHO, which I didn't/still don't have the nerve to do.

You know what, I think by the end of the argument I had convinced myself I started from a different opinion.

That's why I'm a good liar.

I've done it a couple times, but it's definitely something I should be more open to. Nobody likes a DPsx7.
