There's a lot of improvements to the gameplay/plot but the level design isn't nearly as interesting. Thats one of the many reasons I fell off Nioh without actually finishing it Yes, but still not as much as I'd like. Pretty much everything from the first game is there plus like 5 more enemy types. The new ones are kind of drip fed to you so you can get used to them. So, level 1 you get a monkey enemy. Level 2 a snake lady.
