I've been chatting with friends and family on messenger and watching lots of Netflix and Hulu while getting free money.
I keep feeling like I should deep clean my house but I've been keeping it reasonably clean so I'm okay with that.

I get up most days at a reasonable hour and make my bed and I shower each day. Sometimes I skip breakfast because I lay in bed playing games on my phone or talking on messenger.
Sometimes one of my friends streams playing video games on Twitch so I chill on his channel and we bullshit for a few hours.

Sis was laid off and she's none to happy.

She's doing a little better, but no job is really spiking her depression.

It was a slow start but I might be doing just a bit more hours because of this. I'm in a good spot.

The company I work for hasn't sent me an assignment in over a month, so I qualify for unemployment plus that sweet, sweet $600 per week. That's almost as much as I was making actually working. Since I'm not driving anymore one of my biggest expenses has gone down so I'm effectively making a lot more.

There's plenty to do here on the farm. I've got a zillion upgrades I need to do around here, like using poultry netting to keep the wild birds out of the feed room, and putting in new light fixtures on the outside of the barn. And there's the regular chores, like trimming trees, mowing the driveway, cleaning the water tanks for the animals, and grooming the horse.

Not laid off, but I did have my hours cut by half. I'm a bit of a workaholic. I have no idea of what to do with my time. All the gyms are closed, I'm losing motivation to stay healthy. I need to build myself a home gym or something. I already gained the Covid-19 lbs.

You should be able to claim unemployment benefits due to reduced hours as a result of Coronavirus, as long as you report the hours you're working and money you're earning.

Interesting. I should look into this, thank you! Normally I do 60+ hour weeks, right now they say I can't work more than 30, or three days a week, with one on call day.

I wasn't exactly laid off, my car died back in march and I applied for unemployment rather than get a new one and going back to work. Thankfully I got approved, because if that actually keeps up until the end of july I will be way better off than if I had been working, even if I still have to get a car.

Maybe that's what you're getting but some of us (especially in Florida) aren't getting 1 CENT while unemployed. Btw, you sound like a petty, jealous SOB to me.

Still working full time here, was working at home but got moved back to the office
Bright side is the dress code is way less strict, so I get to show up in my concert T's and jeans rather than business casual

I almost quit my job this week. Im pretty depressed right now. Really really wish i couldve been furloughed or laid off to get unemployment

No one is staying home. Everything is busier than Christmas right now.
