(I've already seen seasons 1 and 2 fwiw)

I think it almost goes unsaid nowadays how good the first season is. Knowing the 'twists' really recontextualises a lot of it too but in a good way. It does a really good job of teasing out a lot of little details, the unreliable narrator, the loose grasp of the time span over which the story is being hold. It all really comes to a head extremely well as it progresses.

after each season finale, there's an after credits scene you shouldn't miss.

but yea, amazing series. only the second season could be said to be weak, but that's mostly in relation to the rest of the show, IMO.

Yeah I didn't realise that until somebody mentioned last week!

I think 2 is still pretty good but it repeats some of the best tricks from s1 and it probably overdoes it on the confused narrative stuff. I did like the general trippiness of it but, conversely, I couldn't remember a thing about it once 3 came around lol
