Its a show with like 50 years of history and where the premise is that the main character can reincarnate and become someone entirely new. A couple random episodes may give you very different impressions if you watch different doctors, or even different seasons within the same doctor (since the non-doctor leads also change frequently) I wouldn't say I'm a big fan. it can be very entertaining, but its a very hit or miss show in my experience. I've tried at least a story or two from every doctor except the current one.
