Most games chosen by the Backloggery Fortune Cookie.

I just beat Vay (SCD) -- 5/10 It was my second playthrough. It took me about 51 hrs, but I was typing up a playthrough topic as I went, which added several hours.

This is about as cookie cutter of a JRPG as you can get. If you've played any amount of JRPGs, you've seen pretty much all of its plot points. There's absolutely nothing about the battle system that's out of the ordinary. About the only thing I can think of that might have made this stand out in 1994 was the anime cutscenes. That being said, I had a lot more fun with it than during my first playthrough probably a decade ago, and I think that's because back then I was probably expecting something more, being a Working Desig

If one of the Atari 2600 games somehow wins, and it doesn't have an ending, I'll come up with a reasonable challenge to achieve.

Kabobber was originally canceled and never saw a release on the 2600, so I'm not even sure how playable it is.

In the meantime, I'll try to increase my high score on Galaga (NES), which currently stands at 124,510.

Hmm, hard choice. Portal was a great game, though I preferred the stand alone release on 360 called Portal: Still Alive for the bonus test chambers it has available. Got some other games I'd be willing to vote for as well.

Before I vote, have you played Portal before? If you haven't, I'll vote for it.

I have not played Portal. I watched a friend play a little of it on PC probably over a decade ago.

There goes my vote then. But if you own Still Alive, perhaps as a free Gold game a while back, try to play it some day. More content and different (more interesting IMO) achievements to go for. Stuff that tends to be challenging, like a no damage run or entering only the orange portal, which requires extra work and planning for some of the puzzles. The basic set has Fall 30000 Feet and Jump 300 Feet as the most interesting, and they aren't that challenging in comparison.

Wow, Portal jumped up a lot, yesterday it was sitting at a tie. Wonder if it was just because you never played it.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that. The only game I've played is Popful Mail, which is a great game.

I was surprised to see Popful Mail on there. I played it when it first came out and never heard anyone mention it since.
