I'm using "strategy" sort of loosely here, I mainly mean non-"party" games (ala Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity) and non-social deduction games (Werewolf, Resistance, etc.)

I've found that a lot of the times when I'm at game night type things, we default to those types of games (because they are designed for more players) but that means I never really scratch a certain itch unless I manage to only get 4 people around.

"Smash Up" supports theoretically unlimited players provided you have enough cards to give everyone. But turns will start taking very very very very long. I've played it with 6 people and it was like a 45 minute wait before I got to go again towards the end.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

I had fun playingCosmic Encounters. I believe it works well with big groups.

On the box it just says 3-5, have you expanded it to more?

Some of the expansion does. My last session had 7 people.
