I have a cousin from Texas that's been living with my mom for the past few months. Her boyfriend is some abusive, meatheaded White dude that she's getting away from, so my mom took her in to help her get back on her feet. Like helping her get a job and shit.
Well today, she got into a huge argument with my mom because, apparently, he drove all the way over here from Texas to get her and she tried to get my mom to let him come over and get her.
Obviously she refused, so my cousin got mad and ran off at some point today to get with this guy and no one knows where she is.
Apparently, this isn't the first time this guy hit her and someone took her in only for her to eventually snap on them and run back to him :/

In other news; my younger brother, who is in and out of jail nowadays, is in jail again! For getting into a fight and busting up his friend's car because they got into an argument or some dumb shit.

Damn. Yeah, that's a difficult position to be in.

Victims of abuse can often have trouble leaving the situation for a variety of reasons, even if there's no benefit to sticking around.

And, assuming you live in America, our jail system isn't exactly designed with rehabilitation in mind.

But yeah, we all have those family members that are a handful.

Well, once you turn 18 and move out you can move forward and never deal with these people again. Just because they are blood doesn't mean you have to tolerate or deal with it.
