This is a bike race held at what was at one timee considered the steepest street in the world, Canton Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA.

The term street means, in this context, the road must be used for normal traffic and be paved. So this excludes some other steep streets that maybe nobody uses or are too rural. In this video, this street has houses on it, i've driven up it before.

Anyways, there are three main players in contention for the world record at least as far as I can tell.

Canton Avenue(Pittsburgh, USA) 37% for 6.5 meters
Baldwin Street(Dunedin, New Zealand) 35% for longer than 6.5 meteres
Ffordd Pen Llech(Harlech, Wales) 37 or 36% longer than 6.5 meters.

So this street is generally not considered the steepest in the world any more because the peak is only for 6.5 meters and while i couldnt find the exact distances of the peak for the other two they are much longer, certainly longer than the 10m Guinness requires a minimum of.

So there ya go. Could you guys complete this race? I could not.
