the dangers of ptsd and mental issues will screw over many veteran's out of the help from the government (serve country etc. some don't get enough help).

mental health issues was bypassed by training and exercise.

someone leaves active duty and the training and exercises are not regularly done, if its done at all as a veteran. veterans lose all the support and need to rely on the VA for support. many veterans have issues and deal with it on their own support. many likely gone on their own thinking they can do it but the world isnt about that military life. many families cannot support the few veterans that need to transition out of the military.

i think many veterans dont know how to get the help they may need.

Most, particularly the older vets never learned on the benefits and perks of their military veteran status until s***s already hit the fan for whatever reason.

Nowadays theres plenty of safety nets for vets before and after their service.

I work for the VA and hear all the time about various benefits veterans receive. Especially if you're service connected, 100% service connected veterans receive a few thousand a month. Even while living at the VA, which is obviously fully paid for.

Because some Americans and certain politicians only pretend to care about them when theyre shipped off to war for propaganda. When they come home they couldnt care less and go out of their way to prevent proper access to basic necessities for them. They use the military as a political tool, they dont see them as human. This much has been true for decades.
