They seem pretty predictable and dull but women seem to like them, especially the ones involving romance, and want to cuddle afterwards.

I've must have seen at least three ones where a bitchy woman mentally abuses her personal assistant, who falls in love with, and by the end of the movie, takes the first woman's man.

Seems like they regurgitate some of the same premises.

You mean the Hallmark movies? They're all literally the exact same romance story in a different town.

Girl who works too much and has no love in her life travels against her will to an idealic small town where she then gets stuck by a snow storm amd she meets a hunky man who teaches her to love and the Christmas spirit awakens in her and they love happily ever after.

They're great.

I like the Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer cartoon movie that they play(ed) on Cartoon Network constantly every year. I can't really think of another that I like.

I try to avoid them. How was the John Goodman version of year without a Santa Claus?

I don't think I've watched the full thing, but yeah they show it every year.

The only one worth a damn is Christmas Carol with George C. Scott.

Idyllic, not idealic.

Yeah, I like them. Some of them. Some are boring.
