...when I've actually bought something from a site so that it doesn't keep showing me ads for it.
Like, I bought some custom Christmas cards from a site the other day and since then every other ad I've seen on Youtube is for custom Christmas cards from that site. Mr. Ad Robot, do you not realize that my Christmas card shopping is now done for the year and you are wasting your efforts? And any time I buy something off eBay I can guarantee that for the next week I will see ads for that same product being sold on eBay, just in case I want to buy it again. I don't mind targeted ads, but is it so much to ask that they not ask me to re-buy stuff I already have? --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Kill 10 men: You are a monster. Think it tracks your searches moreso than your purchases.
