Which brings me to you avoiding Next and State of Fear. Those are shit. Andromeda Strain is interesting enough but it's a slog to get through. Space it out of you read it. Most of the other responses are kinda how I feel. I felt Disclosure was at least fine and I really liked Timeline. Also! The Great Train Robbery is his best. If you like heist films, you should read it. It's obviously less dense than his scientific works.
